Collective effort yields desired results at THiS institutions

A collective effort by students and teachers helped schools that are part of The Hindu in School (THiS) programme achieve excellent results in All India Secondary School Certificate Examinations, the results of which were announced today.

In Sri Kumaran Children’s Home (CBSE), Mallasandra, 123 students in the Science steam appeared for the examinations. Samina Shiraj Mulani topped with 99.20%. In the Commerce stream, Aparna Gopalakrishnan topped with 96%, while in Humanities, Vibha Krishnaprasad Nadig topped with 97.40%.

Presidency School Bangalore East, Kasturinagar, achieved 100% pass results with Aayush Chakravartti and Abhishek Baheti both topping with 95%.

In Venkat International Public School, Rajajinagar, 78 of the 131 who wrote the examinations, secured distinctions. Rajesh Shashikant (97%) topped in the Science stream.

At National Public School, HSR Layout, 49 of 65 students scored 90% and above in Science. Among the Commerce students,12 of 33 scored 90% and above. Sashank Kaushik (97.4%) is the topper in Science, while Sakshi Chandak (95.2%) topped in the Commerce stream.

In National Public School, Rajajinagar, 32 of 71 students scored 90% and above. Sai Sree Harsha, by securing 97.2%, emerged the school topper.

DPS Bangalore North recorded 100% pass results. In all, 81 of 187 students scored 90% and above marks. Masih Ahmed (97.80%) is the school topper from the Science stream. Rahul Prasad (97.60%) is the topper in the Commerce stream and Anoushka Rajesh Nair (96%) in the Humanities stream.

In DPS Bangalore South, three students – Aronya Bakshi, Aarushi Mohan and Shreya Sehgal – with 97% are toppers in Science. In Commerce, the top rank was shared by two students – Abhigyan Chatterjee and Ashwini Nag. In Humanities, Akshita Goyal emerged topper with 96.20%.
