Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy, who holds the power portfolio, on Thursday sought a high-level meeting to discuss solving the infrastructural issues with regard to power supply and distribution.

Sources said he reviewed the constraints in KPTCL’s transmission 66 kv and 220 kv network Indiranagar and Mysuru Road, and stressed on the need for cooperation with civic agencies, such as BBMP, and the district administration.

He sought a roadmap from Bescom on laying underground cables, a proposal he had announced in the budget.

“Another meeting has been called on Saturday,” an official said.
