Chief Minister takes stock of situation

Chief Minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda held a high-level meeting with senior Ministers and top police officials here on Saturday to take stock of the situation following Friday's attack on mediapersons and the resultant chaos at the City Civil Court complex.

Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister S. Suresh Kumar, Home and Transport Minister R. Ashok, Chief Secretary S.V. Ranganath Director-General and Inspector-General of Police Shankar M. Bidari and City Police Commissioner B.G. Jyothi Prakash Mirji, among other police officials, attended the meeting.

The police officials informed the Chief Minister about the action taken following the Friday's incident and the arrests made so far.
