This comes after a 56-year-old was injured by biker ‘performing stunts’

Villagers on Monday thrashed three teenagers for allegedly performing wheelies and pelted stones at the vehicles in Hemmigepura near Thalaghattapura.

The police said that a group of bikers came to NICE Road around Kaggalipura and Kumaraswamy Layout to allegedly perform stunts. Passers-by noticed them and informed the villagers, who rushed there, and caught three of them and began to thrash them.

The others sped away sensing trouble . The Thalaghattapura police said that the incident took place early in the morning and no case has been filed as the teenagers were sent away by the villagers.

On Sunday, 56-year-old Siddappa, a resident of Hemmigepura, was injured when he was knocked down by a biker allegedly performing stunts.

A senior police officer said there is regular patrolling around NICE Road near Kengeri and K.S. Layout, owing to which the bikers may have shifted towards Hemmigepura as the place is isolated.
