Two armed men robbed a 33-year-old doctor while he was walking towards his home on Lavelle Road from a club in the wee hours of Sunday.

Dr. Sriram, a resident of an apartment complex on Lavelle Road, had been to Bangalore Club and was walking home around 1.25 a.m.

Two men on a scooter intercepted him and demanded his valuables at knife-point. They snatched his wallet containing ₹2,000, credit and debit cards, a wrist watch worth ₹50,000 and his phone worth ₹25,000.

Dr. Sriram jotted down the registration number of the vehicle and rushed to Cubbon Park police station to file a complaint.

The police have taken up a case of robbery and are verifying CCTV footage from in and around the area to identify the accused.
