With a large number of parents not having completed admissions in the second round under RTE quota, the Department of Public Instruction has extended the last date for admissions. Commissioner for Public Instruction Mohammad Mohsin said children who had been shortlisted under the RTE quota could get admitted till May 5. The earlier deadline was 30 April. In the second round, 17,198 seats were allotted but a large number of admissions were yet to completed, sources in the department said. — Staff Reporter
