Software engineer killed in accident

A 26-year-old software engineer, who was on his way to his relative's house, was killed near Cauvery Theatre junction on Tuesday morning.

According to Sadashivanagar traffic police, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, a native of Himachal Pradesh, was driving his motorcycle holding the helmet on his left hand. Mr. Kumar lost control of his motorcycle and hit a median near Cauvery Theatre around 4 a.m. Mr. Kumar sustained a head injury and was rushed to a the M.S. Ramaiah Hospital, but he died on the way.

Police said Mr. Kumar was working with IBM.
