The Kannada Sahitya Parishat has invited applications from young authors for the ‘Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation Aralu Award'. According to a press release here, the award carries a cash prize of Rs. 10,000.
The release said that authors should be aged below 25 (as on August 15, 2010) and their works should have been published between January 2009 and December 2009.
Interested authors may send in their applications, along with three copies of their work and age proof by September 30 to the parishat, the release said.
