Bengaluru: Nearly a hundred policemen raided the houses of former gangster Agni Sridhar in Kumaraswamy Layout and his associate Syed Aman in the nearby ISRO Layout on Tuesday morning.

Sridhar developed breathlessness during the raid and had to be hospitalised. The police arrested Aman finding four unlicensed revolvers and a cache of ammunition in his house.

The police had secured warrants for two suspects in another case. Both were nabbed when they called on Sridhar in the hospital.

Six security guards were also arrested and booked under the Private Security Regulation Act. The police team was led by Additional Commissioner of Police (East) Hemanth Nimbalkar along with three DCPs.
