Governor okays varsity examination ordinance

Governor H.R. Bhardwaj, who is also the Chancellor of universities, has approved Bangalore University's Examination Ordinance 2011.

The Examination Ordinance, the first of its kind in the State, aims to ensure the credibility of the exam process by fixing accountability on each individual, including teachers, university authorities and students involved in the exam process.

Grievance cell

In order to ameliorate students' problems, it provides for a Student Grievance Redressal Cell in the examination branch and has laid down an effective procedure for correction of totalling mistakes, non-valuation of questions and so on.
