People from across the State came to the city to pay their respects to thespian late Rajkumar on Monday on the occasion of his fourth death anniversary. Fans and family members went to the Dr. Rajkumar Memorial at Kanteerava Studio here to pay their respects.
Speaking to presspersons, actor Shiv Rajkumar said that the Dr. Rajkumar Memorial, work on which is still on, will be ready by November.

He said that the State Government has extended support for the construction of the memorial.
“After it is completed, the memorial will be included in the Bangalore tourist circle. Several people from across the country come to the city to pay their respects to Appaji (Dr. Rajkumar),” he said.
Several personalities from the Kannada film industry visited the memorial and paid their respects.
Camps
Dr. Rajkumar's second son and actor Raghavendra Rajkumar said that through the Dr. Rajkumar Trust, several eye check-up camps and programmes to create awareness about eye donation had been organised.
The trust was also looking into the possibility of the construction of a temple. Food items that were liked by Dr. Rajkumar were prepared and distributed to the fans.
