Another girl molested; this time in KG Halli

Days after the Kammanahalli molestation incident, another girl was sexually assaulted by a man in KG Halli in the early hours of Friday.

The burkha-clad girl was walking towards the bus stop when the accused followed her and sexually assaulting her. The victim, who in a bid to resist the attack, sustained injuries on her lips, tongue and hand. The accused fled the scene when a stray dog started howling.

The victim called her family and narrated the ordeal. The family members rushed to the spot and took her to hospital, where she was treated in outpatient department.

The family later approached a shop seeking CCTV footage and filed a complaint at the KG Halli police station. However, the KG Halli police say they have not received any complaint.
