BENGALURU: The Indian Institute of Managment - Bangalore (IIM-B) will mark Republic Day on a musical note. A 12-hour-long classical music and dance extravaganza will be held in the campus from 6 p.m. on January 25 to 6 a.m. on January 26.

Every year, staff and students of IIM Bangalore, in association with SPICMACAY, treat audiences to performances by classical artistes from dusk till dawn in the open air amphitheatre in their campus on Bannerghatta Road.

This year’s event features Padma Shri Awardee Pt. Venkatesh Kumar (Hindustani vocal), Padma Shri Ustad Shahid Pervez (sitar), renowned danseuse Sujata Mohapatra (Odissi) and the youth sensations Sikkil Gurucharan (Carnatic vocal) and the Akkarai Sisters (Carnatic violin).

Entry is open to all. The event details and entry passes are available at www.yamini-iimb.in and facebook.com/iimb.yamini.
