60-year-old attacked, robbed on Mysore Road

A 60-year-old man was attacked and robbed by three armed men in Byatarayanapura on Monday night.

Police have identified the victim as Raju, working as projector operator in PVR Cinema. He was returning from work when the incident occurred.

Raju alighted a bus at Ganapathy Nagar on Mysuru Road and was walking towards home when three men confronted him and demanded valuables at knife-point. The trio attacked Raju and robbed his wallet containing Rs. 200 cash, Identity Card and mobile phone from him.

The Byatarayanapura police have taken up a case and are investigating.
