A 55-year-old waiter was found brutally murdered near Kapali Theatre in Bengaluru’s Upparpet in broad day light on Sunday.

Police have identified the deceased as Nanje Gowda, a native of K.R. Pet working in Koli Mane Kabab Place and living in the hotel situated in Gandhi Nagar.

He was found murdered on the footpath in front of the hotel at around 7 a.m. with multiple stab injuries. The assailant slit his throat and left him bleed to death.

The Upparpet police rushed to the spot and conducted investigations. Police suspect rivalry among workers may have led to the killing. The police are questioning the other staff members of the Hotel.
