45-year-old man ends life in park

A 45-year-old man allegedly committed suicide in a park on BEL Road in Sanjaynagar police station limits on Tuesday night.

The deceased, G. Kumar, was a resident of Nagashettihalli.

He was found hanging by a rope to a stone arch built inside the park.

Police said that Kumar was depressed and hence took the extreme step.

His body was found by people out for their morning walk. The body was shifted to M.S. Ramaiah hospital.

A case of unnatural death has been registered in Sanjaynagar police station.

Killed in accident

A 40-year-old security guard of a private company was killed on the spot when he was knocked down by a BMTC bus on Summanahalli Main Road on Wednesday.

The victim, Nagraj was crossing the road when he was hit by the bus. Nagraj was rushed to Victoria Hospital where he died of his injuries.

In another incident, a 55-year-old security guard, identified as Byra Reddy, died after being knocked down by a motorcycle on Chikkajala Service Road on Tuesday night.
