11 IPS officers transferred

M.N. Anucheth back in the city as Dy Commissioner, Whitefield division

Barely 10 days after 19 IPS officers were transferred, the State government on Saturday announced the transfer of 11 more senior officers.

M.N. Anucheth, the investigating officer in the SIT probing the Gauri Lankesh murder, who was earlier transferred as SP, Railways, was moved back to the city as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Whitefield division. He replaces Abdul Ahad who takes over as Superintendent of Police, Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).

IGP and Additional Commissioner of Police (Bengaluru East) Seemanth Kumar Singh has been posted as IGP (Administration), Chief Office. His place has been taken by S. Murugun, who held the post of IGP, Karnataka Lokayukta.

S.N. Siddaramappa, Deputy Inspector General of Police (Internal Security Division), will now hold the post of DIGP, Fire Services, Bengaluru.

Abhinav Khare, SP, Bagalkot, was transferred and posted as Commandant, 4th Battalion, Karnataka State Reserve Police.

Dekka Kishore Babu, SP, Internal Security Division, Bengaluru, was transferred and posted as SP (Law and Order), Kalaburagi.

Lokesh Bharmappa Jagalasar, SP, Internal Security Division, Bengaluru, was transferred and posted as SP, Bagalkot district.
