10-day Karnataka legislature session from Feb 2

A 10-day session of the State legislature will commence from February 2 in Bengaluru.

Governor Vajubhai Vala will address the joint session of the State legislature at the newly renovated hall of the State Legislative Assembly at 12 noon on February 2, according to a notification issued by the State Legislature.

The session would be held from February 2 to 13. The Opposition is expected to use the session for attacking the Congress government for its alleged failures various fronts, including alleged involvement of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in denotification of lands set aside for the formation of the Arakavathi Layout in Bengaluru.
