Hands-on training in different techniques of suturing was organised for house surgeons of Andhra Medical College on Sunday.
The workshop on basic surgical skills was held in department of Plastic Surgery, Andhra Medical College and KGH, in which 60 interns (house surgeons) participated and learned the different techniques of suturing on models with hands on experience. After inaugurating the workshop Director of Medical Education G. Santa Rao emphasized the need for such hands-on training workshops which would be useful throughout the lives of these young doctors.
