Workshop on liberty entrepreneurship ends

A five-day workshop on liberty entrepreneurship conducted here by Language of Liberty Institute (LLI) and India's Future Foundation (IFF), which concluded on Sunday, called upon the youth to take the lead in launching a crusade against regulations which discourage entrepreneurship in them.

During the workshop 40 delegates from India, the United States, Australia, Nepal, Malaysia and Germany held threadbare discussions on free market economy, rise in capitalist forces, threat to democracy, challenges posed to politics and the role of students and youth in fighting for a value-based society.

Among others, Venkatesh Geriti, founder of India's Future Foundation, Sreekanth Reddy Maramreddy, founder of People Against Corruption, Glenn Cripe, founder of Language of Liberty Institute, David Hutzelman from USA, Andy Eyschen, former adviser for Australian and Malaysian Governments, Jerry Johnson, a famous communication expert, Gaurav Thapa, executive board member, SFL Nepal, Barun Mitra, founder of Liberty Institute, Chakravarthy Nalamotu, spoke.

Commenting on the deliberations, Glenn Cripe said, “it was a wonderful camp -- a unique language camp where students had an opportunity to discuss ideas that matter.”

Mr. Sreekanth Reddy said the past decade had been an important time for Indian history in terms of technological advancement, social activism and more importantly due to the change in political landscape.
