Weekly express trains to Gandhidham and Jodhpur

East Coast Railway is introducing weekly express trains from here to Gandhidham and Bhagat ki Koti (Jodhpur) on December 24, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager M. Yelvender Yadav, said on Saturday.

Train No. 18573 to Bhagat ki Koti (Jodhpur) express will leave here on every Thursday at 5.35 a.m. with effect from January 2, 2014 and will reach destination on Fridays at 10.45 p.m. In return direction, train No. 18574 leaves Bhagat ki Koti (Jodhpur) at 2.15 p.m. on Saturdays, with effect from January 4, 2014, and arrives here at 8.20 a.m. on Mondays. The train passes through Vizianagaram, Titlagarh, Raipur, Annupur junction, Guna, Kota, Jaipur and other stations.

However, the inaugural run will be operated as a special train with no. 08575 leaving here at 7.45 a.m. on December 24 and in the return direction as a special train no.08576 leaving Bhagat ki Koti (Jodhpur) on Dec. 26.

The other train, No. 18501 Visakhapatnam-Gandhidham express, via Vijayawada, Warangal, Wardha and Surat, will leave here at 5.35 p.m. on every Thursdays with effect from January 2, 2014 and reaches Gandhidham at 9.50 am. on Saturdays. In return direction the train, with No. 18502 will leave Gandhidham at 10.45 p.m. on Saturdays with effect from January 5, 2014 and reaches here at 2.25 p.m. on Tuesdays.

The inaugural run will be as a special train, with No. 08503 from Visakhapatnam to Gandhidham, leaving at 8 a.m. on Dec. 24 and as train No. 08504 from Gandhidham on Dec. 26.
