An exclusive website www.visakhautsav2015.in has been launched to place and disseminate all information and activities related to Visakha Utsav to be celebrated from January 23 to 25.
As a part of involving all sections of people in the Utsav, contacts have been set up with the Utsav Secretariat in VUDA office. Since the festival is meant to promote the brand image of Visakhapatnam, efforts are being made to provide access to public both in the city and outside of it through information technology, according to VUDA Vice-Chairman and Convener of Visakha Utsav M.V. Seshagiri Babu.
A toll-free number 1800 425 00006, landline 0891-2526515 and fax number 0891-2526518 have been set up to contact the Visakha Utsav Secretariat. Similarly, e-mail: visakhautsav2015@gmail.
com is activated to receive feedback and proposals for participation from those interested.
Mr. Seshagiri Babu has said all information on the utsav, including day-to-day events, will be uploaded on the website.
He has asked the sub-committees of the Visakha Utsav to hand over the action plans and concrete information on finalised events so far to place the same on the website.
