Film background
Coming from a filmy background will always have an added advantage. “We tend to grow up with films, if one belongs to the same background. Our upbringing exposes us to understand the business of cinema in a better perspective.”
Rana is all excited about his forthcoming movie ‘Naa Ishtam', a romantic comedy, pairing with Genelia D'Souza. “My third Telugu movie is all set to release on March 23. Most of the actors I work with are much more experienced than me. So they treat me as a fresher and give lot of scope to learn through. Genelia is a very lively person to work with and her presence brings so much of life on the sets.”
About future aspirations, the actor enthusiastically adds, “Time is very precious and fleeting.
Films that we do would leave their mark. I aspire to do many good films in different languages.” In a span of just two years, the tall and handsome actor already completed three films- Leader, Nenu Naa Rakshasi and Dam Maaro Dum. Besides Naa Ishtam, Department in Hindi is in progress.
