Waiver of registration charges proposed for ESI hospital land

Waiver of registration charges for the 500-bed ESI hospital proposed at Gajuwaka was proposed and sent to the government, Special Chief Secretary Manmohan Singh said here on Wednesday. Proposals had been sent to the government for approach roads to proposed housing colonies and culverts and to make the present approach road to Kendriya Vidyalaya at Sitanagaram a permanent one, he said at a meeting with officials.

Assistant Director of Survey Manisha Tripathi said 80 % of computerisation of land records was completed.

Earlier, Dr. Manmohan Singh, accompanied by Collector Pravin Kumar, visited the proposed 60 acres of endowment land for Yoga University at Sangivalasa in Tagarapuvalasa mandal.

At a separate meeting with Revenue, VUDA and GVMC officials, Mr. Pravin Kumar said 54,299 houses were proposed to be constructed in three phases in the district. The construction of houses was taken up by A P TIDCO.
