VPT donates medical equipment to KGH

The Visakhapatnam Port Trust under its CSR programme, donated medical equipment worth Rs. 1 crore to the King George Hospital here.

Lok Sabha MP K. Haribabu handed over the equipment to Superintendent of KGH M. Madhusudhana Babu on Tuesday.

VPT donated two channel NCV and EMG Machine with single fibre EMG, V10 200 D modular electro-surgery work station; stellar bi-PAP machine with PAC mode along with a humidifier; two mobile 600 mA X-ray units and a PB 840 model ventilator to the Super Specialty ward. Chairman of VPT M.T. Krishna Babu, Collector N. Yuvaraj, MLA Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar and HoDs of various departments and senior doctors of KGH were present.
