Two killed in freak accident

Chairman of Daralamma temple at Darakonda G. Gopala Krishna and a priest from Tuni Ranga Babu were killed on the spot when a tree fell on the car in which they were travelling near Ramagedda under G. K. Veedhi police station limits on Sunday evening.

The tree fell under the impact of heavy gale and thunderstorm. Gopala Krishna’s wife, car driver, and another person were injured in the accident. The accident occurred when they were returning after inspecting the expansion plan of the temple.

DSP Chintapalli Raghavendra Rao said that the injured were shifted to a hospital at G. K. Veedhi.
