For weeks now, two major problems near the Coastal Battery have been staring road users in the face but no remedial measures are taken.
The twin danger has come in quick succession as one comes from the Fishing Harbour towards the Coastal Battery.
The first one comes across a pothole bang in the middle of the road. While motorcyclists have an alternative to just pass it by skirting it, for four-wheelers it’s a difficult task.
But when one comes to the second hurdle, a big stretch of the road is totally sunk and does not leave any choice.
“One have to go to the other side of the road to avoid it and the only convenience appears to be the road-divider not being there allowing one to switch lanes,” says a motorist.
But without a streetlight nearby, at night it’s really a nightmare.
