MP K. Haribabu on Friday inaugurated a three-day “Making of Developing India (MODI)” fest on the Beach Road.

The exhibition has 15 stalls on the initiatives of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for various sections like digital transactions, insurance for various sections, pensions, farmers’ welfare, “Mudra” loans etc.

The stalls will not only disseminate information but also implement them by helping people join them and derive benefit.

Mr. Haribabu said during the three years the Prime Minister had come out with programmes making people part of them.

Whether it was “Swachh Bharat” or “Jan Dhan Yojana” people were at the centre of his initiatives, he said. MLC P.V.N. Madhav said the Modi Government introduced a total of 106 schemes right from insurance for a mere ₹12. The safety and protection of the people were his concerns. He also believed in the dictum of “minimum government and maximum governance.”
