TET results likely tomorrow

June 01, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 06:00 am IST - VISAKHAPATNAM:

Announcement of the results of the Teacher Eligibility Test-cum-Teacher Recruitment Test (TET-TRT), scheduled for Monday, has been postponed and will now be released on June 2 or 3, Minister for Human Resources Development Ganta Srinivasa Rao said on Sunday.

The decision to postpone the results was taken to let an expert committee clarify the 1,800 queries received after the final key was issued on May 27.

Most of the objections were similar in nature and the expert committee was expected to complete its job by Sunday night to facilitate announcement of results on schedule on Monday.

But to make sure that no mistakes occur and that the process is conducted in a foolproof and transparent manner, the results have had to be put off by a day or two, Mr. Srinivasa Rao explained.
