‘T’ Bill copies burnt

Following a call given by Samaikya Rashtra Parirakshana Vedika copies of the A P State Reorganisation Bill were burnt in Bhogi mantalu on Monday evening.

Parirakshana Vedika district secretary M. Ananda Rao and VJF president Gantla Srinubabu and other members burnt the copies of the bill amid slogans.

Mr. Ananda Rao demanded that parties stop misleading people and come together to keep the State united. People would teach a lesson to parties resorting to self-serving politics, he said.

He demanded that Union Minister S. Jaipal Reddy who made disparaging remarks against Simandhra leaders should apologise.

The effigies of the minister and TRS president KCR were also burnt.

At Akkayyapalem, Samaikyandhra Student JAC Convener Adari Kishore Kumar and others burnt the copies of the bill in protest against the bifurcation of the State.
