Students of Sri Prakash School were floored as Lt. Commander P. Swati who just completed the global circumvention on board INSV Tarini, narrated her tales of adventure, here on Wednesday.

Lt. Cdr Swati was one among the six-member all-women team that sailed across the seven seas in a 55-foot indigenously built sailing craft.

She shared how decisions and a focused mind helped them overcome emergency situations during the voyage. She also narrated how she was trained for the gruelling voyage for two years, before embarking on the sailing trip.

Director of the school Chitturi Vasu Prakash was present.
