Summer classes at GVMC schools

Free summer training for GVMC students of Classes VIII, IX, and X will be organised at five centres from May 22 to June 15 under the supervision of Narayana Group of educational institutions. Mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology will be covered from 9 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. Addressing a meeting of parents, headmasters, and students, Municipal Commissioner Pravin Kumar said that the training would be on corporate lines and students could face competitive examinations better by attending the classes. Those interested may contact the nearest school.

The five centres are: municipal schools at Malkapuram (headmaster K.V. Subba Rao), Kancharapalem (A.S. Naidu), Madhuranagar (Y. Krishna), Bhimili (P. Anuradha), and Anakapalle Town Girls School (A.V. Brahmanandam).

Travels by bus

Mr. Pravin Kumar, who made his morning visit to various areas returned by a bus to RTC Complex as Monday is a ‘No Vehicle’ day for the GVMC.
