Students told to sharpen skills to achieve goal

Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) Chairman S. Vijaya Raju said on Saturday that students should channelise all their energy towards realising their goals.

Delivering the convocation address at Gayatri Vidya Parishad College for Degree and PG Courses (Autonomous) here Prof. Vijaya Raju said “students should make every effort to sharpen their soft skills.

He said syllabus and examination pattern would be revamped from the next academic year to suit the global scenario.

Apart from a few PhD students, 621 degree and 244 PG graduates were presented graduation certificates. A total of eight toppers, including D. Triveni, G. Sri Kavya, C. Rupa and D. Chakravarthy, received gold medals on the occasion. Those who secured medals and certificates defined it as a proud moment for them which would remain etched in their memory for forever.

President of GVP Educational Institutions A.S.N. Prasad, secretary and correspondent of GVP Degree and PG Courses D. Dakshina Murthy, Principal S.K.V.S. Raju, joint secretary of GVP P. Rajaganapathi, director of School Management Studies S. Rajani, Controller of Examinations N.V. Ramana Murthy and Principals of various GVP colleges took part in the convocation ceremony.
