Student ends life owing to ‘exam failure’

A diploma student from Burma Colony in Malkapuram area reportedly ended his life owing to failure in examination.

According to Malkapuram Circle Inspector Bhaskar Rao, K. Sai Sampat Ganesh Kumar (17), a first-year student of a private polytechnic college at Narava Road, reportedly hanged himself at his home when his parents were away on Monday morning.

In a note, the student reportedly mentioned that he had failed in five subjects. The results were announced on Sunday. People with suicidal tendency can seek help by dialling the helpline number 100.
