RINL Chairman-cum-Managing Director P. Madhusudan on Thursday said the steel market was showing signs of improvement due to thrust attached to infrastructure, railway and highway projects by the Union government.

He made the observation while inaugurating the Steel Executives’ Association auditorium at Ukkungagaram.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Madhusudan said there was every need to improve the productivity and increase the volume of operations since RINL was ramping up and stabilising the production from the new units.

He said the current financial year would be a challenging year for RINL in improving its bottom-line.

“We have faced serious challenges during the last two years and SEA should play a major role in improving the productivity and work together to achieve the success,” Mr. Madhusudan said.
