One has to make relentless efforts from the student-stage itself, if he/she aspires to attain success in life, said Police Commissioner J. Purnachandra Rao.
Participating as chief guest at the two-day ‘career counselling programme’ for students, organised by Urivi Vikram Charitable Trust and Visakhapatnam City Police, which concluded at the Jan Shikshan Sansthan (JSS) here on Thursday, he advised the participants to realise the value of time and achieve their goals with proper time management. He said that education was not limited to engineering and medicine and called upon the students to develop interest in humanities and science.
Presiding over the programme, Chairperson of the Trust, Urivi Chaya spoke about the activities of the organisation in Andhra Pradesh. Founder Chairman of the Trust UNB Rao said that the organisation was adopting poor students and providing all amenities for their educational development.
Social worker and philanthropist Curie Vijay Kumar, Principal of Master Minds Panduranga Rao, JSS Programme Coordinator David Raju, Andhra University NSS Coordinator Narasimha Murthy and Juvenile Justice Board member Abdul Raqueeb were among those who participated.
