‘Snakeman’ interacts with students

Reptile expert, film-maker, wildlife conservationist and founder of Madras Snake Park Romulus Whitaker visited Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan to deliver a lecture and interact with students on Monday.

Mr. Whitaker interacted with students at Indira Gandhi Zoological Park. Later in the school, while delivering a lecture, he narrated his experience of catching a snake at the age of four and how he had eventually developed fondness for the reptiles.

He screened a couple of videos on Indian snakes and precautionary measures to be taken while rescuing snakes.

Chief Conservative Officer of Forests Rahul Pandey and zoo curator R. Yesoda Bai and director of the school Ch. Vasu Prakash, among others were present.
