Share your views on Visakhapatnam city development: Commissioner

The revised CDP is being prepared by CEPT University, Ahmedabad

Municipal Commissioner M.V. Satyanarayana appealed to citizens of Visakhapatnam engaged in various professions of academia, associations of engineers, architects, contractors and builders, among others, besides the representatives of non-government organizations, resident welfare associations, self-help groups and other eminent personalities of the city to participate in the stake-holders meetings on revised CDP beginning from December 12.

The revised CDP is being prepared by Centre for Environment, Planning and Technology (CEPT) University, Ahmedabad, appointed for the purpose.

The stakeholders meetings are scheduled to be held for three days at the Old Council Hall. The participants are requested to bring the suggestions for the city development in the form of written letters, so that the same will be considered for inclusion in the draft city development plan based on its importance.

The meeting with engineers, architects, academicians, consultants of various professions will be held at 10.30 a.m. on the first day.
