Horlicks Wizkids Vizag-2011, organised in association with Krayon at Kalavani auditorium here on Friday received tremendous response with students representing 38 schools participating in it. Hundreds of students showcased their talent in dancing.

The students enthralled the audience with their electrifying dances while making a determined effort to be one among the privileged two winners who would represent the city in the Horlicks Wizkids South Asia Finals in November 2011.

Objective

The South Asia winners will win scholarships worth Rs.4 lakhs and a trip to UN in Geneva. Students participated in painting, drawing, song, quiz, and dancing competitions. Every year, Horlicks and Krayon organise the inter-school fiesta across India, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka with the theme ‘Generation, Taller, Stronger, and Sharper'.

The objective, according to Puneet Das, general manager, Glaxo Smith Kline Consumer Healthcare Limited, is to support the students across the South East Asia to unleash their creativity and contribute to the overall development of schoolchildren.

At the concluding function, Parvitha from Visakha Valley School and Priya from Etasi Timpany School were selected from among eight students who reached the semi-final stage and declared winners.
