Rama Mohan Rao named VPT Chairman

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has named K. Rama Mohan Rao as the Chairman of Visakhapatnam Port Trust (VPT).

Mr. Rap is an Uttar Pradesh cadre IAS officer belonging to the 1994 batch. The committee approved the proposal of the Ministry of Shipping for his appointment in the level of Joint Secretary.

He will take charge from Paradip Port Trust (PPT) Chairman Rinkesh Roy, who was holding the additional charge as the head of port trust.
