A dharna was staged by railway employees under the aegis of the East Coast Railway Shramik Union (ECoRSU) behind the DRMs Office here on Tuesday seeking an early settlement of their demands. Addressing the participants, ECoRSU president Ch. Gandhi condemned the anti-labour policies of the Centre and called upon the cadre to be united to achieve their genuine demands. He also criticised the divisional officials, especially those in the Engineering Department, for their adamant attitude. He alleged that a lot of irregularities were being committed in the drafting of establishment matters.
