Outsourcing employees seek hike in salary

June 09, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 09:05 am IST - VISAKHAPATNAM:

The city committee of the A.P. State Government Contract and Outsourcing Employees’ Federation has demanded that the government increase the salary for the two categories as per the 10{+t}{+h}PRC.

Though the government awarded 42 per cent fitment and increased dearness allowance to 62.44 per cent to permanent employees, the contract and outsourcing employees were not given any rise or the Act stipulating same pay for same work was not implemented in their case, convener of the federation P. Mani said.

A round-table was being organised here on June 13 on the issue. Employees’ associations of 42 government departments were invited to it.
