NSUI to set up help desks

To minimise hardship for students, the National Students Union of India (NSUI) will be setting up help desks at all colleges and universities, NSUI secretary in-charge of Seemandhra Rajeeb Pattanaik has said.

The NSUI is planning to organise career counselling sessions to help students decide on careers, he said at a media conference here on Sunday.

“NSUI is committed to ensuring justice to students in education and employment,” he said, and added that the NSUI would take up awareness programmes and also represent the issues concerning students at different levels.

APCC general secretary Dronamraju Srinivas Rao, City Congress president Behara Bhaskar Rao, NSUI district president Rama Rao, City Mahila Congress president Pedati Ramana Kumari and other leaders were present.
