Now, pay power bills through AB ATMs

A MoU was signed between Andhra Bank and the AP Eastern Power Distribution Company Limited to enable payment of electricity bills through Andhra Bank ATMs.

APEPDCL Director, Finance, T.V.S. Chandrasekhar, Chief General Manager K. Bhaskara Rao, and General Manager (Revenue) P. Balaji, and Andhra Bank Circle General Manager K. Ranganadh and Zonal Manager Boyapati Vijayalakshmi took the decision and entered a MoU at the Bank Zonal Office here on Sunday.

The MoU provides Electricity Bill Payments option on Andhra Bank ATMs to enable the consumers pay electricity bills by using Andhra Bank ATM-cum-Debit Cards as well as all other banks’ ATM cards through Andhra Bank ATMs in all the five districts in the jurisdiction of APEPDCL — Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakapatnam, East Godavari, and West Godavari — with immediate effect.

On this occasion, officials of both the organisations and union representatives — D.V. Ranga Rao, B. Ramana Murthy, and I. Kesva Rao — participated.

Consumers can pay using ATM cards of any bank in all the five districts under EPDCL jurisdiction
