Around 300 youth from various districts of the State are expected to take part in the five-day National Integration Camp (residential), scheduled to be organised at Youth Training Centre, Vepagunta in the city from November 4 to 8. The officials said that the camp would have various sessions, lectures by experts over various topics and a field trip to the Agency area of the district.
SETVIS CEO B. Srinivasa Rao said discussions would be held on patriotism, national integration, moral and ethical values, traffic rules, performance of youth clubs, Juvenile Justice and POCSO acts, personality development among others. Sessions on skill development training courses, preparation for competitive exams, opportunities in journalism, Nirbhaya Act, drug abuse, women trafficking, environmental protection will also be organised.
Field visit
Students will engage in several activities including yoga, meditation, jogging and sanitation in the mornings. Elocution, essay writing competitions, cultural programmes will also be conducted. A field visit to Borra Caves and Araku Valley will also be organised.
Tourism Minister M. Srinivasa Rao will inaugurate the camp on Monday.
