Mystery shrouded the death of a 20-year old girl, who was found dead in her lover’s house in Kadapalem village of Pudimadaka under Atchutapuram police station limits, on Sunday. The parents of the girl alleged that their daughter might have been killed by her boyfriend and his parents. The deceased was identified as M. Dhanalakshmi (20), resident of Pudimadaka.

According to Atchutapuram Sub-Inspector Dheenabandhu, on Sunday at around 1pm, the girl's boyfriend U. Kasubabu (20) saw Dhanalakshmi collapsing in her room.

He immediately called his neighbours and when they tried to wake her they found her dead with saliva and froth flowing out of her mouth and nose. The neighbours thought that it was a case of suicide and informed the police.

As per the details given by the SI, both Dhanalakshmi and Kasubabu were in love and around one month back they eloped and returned home after five or six days.

Since then, the duo has been in live-in relationship at boy's house.

Ever since girl had eloped, her parents severed ties with her. According to Mr. Dheenabandhu, the parents of the girl also alleged that since Dhanalakshmi's love with Kasubabu failed to bring in dowry, they murdered her by making her drink some poison. Relatives of the girl also alleged Kasubabu was also involvement in the case, as he wanted to get rid of Dhanalakshmi.

The police have registered a and investigation is on.
