Anakapalle MP Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao has urged Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar to start the Kendriya Vidyala proposed at Anakapalle in temporary accommodation at GVMC School at Woodpeta.

He said a site was proposed at Sitanagaram and it was inspected by a team from Kendriya Vidyalaya Sanghatana. The school should be started pending finalisation of site in temporary accommodation, he urged the Minister in New Delhi.

While thanking the government for setting up the Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy at Sabbavaram, he urged Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to recruit local people to non-gazetted posts thereby helping youth get employment.

He wanted the Minister to issue instructions to the effect to the authorities concerned. He also wanted funds to be released as per the schedule announced for speedy construction of the institute and set up a committee to oversee the infrastructure-related work.
