Miracle Software Systems, Inc, a financially-stable IT firm headquartered in Novi, Michigan, with campuses at Bhogapuram and Rushikonda will recruit 1,000 engineers and management graduates passing out in 2015.

Placements for 1,000 freshers have started in most of the local colleges. Once the hiring process is completed, the employee strength of the company globally will increase to 2,500. “As part of our expansion, we will also double our turnover to Rs.60 crore in a year,” company’s CEO Prasad Lokam told The Hindu on Saturday.

The company, which was formed 20 years ago in December, specialises in end-to-end SOA integration and consultancy services in IBM WebSphere Technology for large and midsize companies in banking, insurance, healthcare, life sciences, and tourism sectors.

The company has developed Miracle City -- software global development centre at Bhogapuram -- in about 400 acres. Miracle Heights -- the second one located at Rushikonda in an area of five acres focuses on SAP implementation. Miracle has operations in India, USA, UK, Singapore, Australia, Switzerland, and Germany.

Stating that as a person hailing from Visakhapatnam, Mr. Prasad said he was very passionate about the city’s development as an IT hub. “It is gifted with such a wonderful location with nature’s splendour that we can do miracles to transform it into a prominent IT and industrial hub if the right ecosystem is created,” he said.

He felt that the city needs strong leadership and aggressive marketing to highlight the city’s investment potential. “We have everything but power availability is most unreliable. The syllabus of local educational institutes also needs a re-look to make the products industry and job-ready,” he said.

On social infrastructure, he said there was no problem as far as housing ventures were concerned but the city needs good air connectivity for the convenience of international travellers and substantial improvement in entertainment facilities to cater to the needs of techies.
