Koteswara Rao takes charge as VMRDA Commissioner

P. Koteswara Rao took charge as the Commissioner of Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA), at VMRDA office here on Wednesday.

Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Koteswara Rao said that it was a great opportunity for him to serve people as the Commissioner of the prestigious VMRDA. He later visited various departments and directed the officials to computerise the files. Mr. Koteswara Rao earlier served as the Joint Collector of Kadapa district before getting transferred in the recent bureaucratic reshuffle in Andhra Pradesh.

The VMRDA officials and staff greeted the new Commissioner and gave a grand welcome in the morning. The Commissioner chaired a meeting with the heads of various departments of the VMRDA.
