Kiran to take part in Rachabanda at Chodavaram

District Collector and Superintendent of Police review arrangements for the programme

Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy will participate in the Rachabanda programme at Chodavaram in the district on Friday.

District Collector S. Solomon Arokia Raj and Superintendent of Police Vikram Duggal on Wednesday visited the high school grounds and the helipad being laid at the market yard.

Officials were told to ensure power supply and keep a generator ready.

The Zilla Parishad CEO and the Project Director of DRDA will supervise the arrangements, including supply of drinking water, parking and sanitation.

Around 20,000 people are expected to attend the programme. Beneficiaries from four mandals will be given away ration cards, welfare pensions, certificates for ‘Bangaru Talli’ programme and interest-free loans. Traffic will be diverted from the morning of November 15.

Narsipatnam Sub-Collector Shweta Teotia, ZP CEO Venkat Reddy, DRDA Project Director Maheswar Reddy and other officials accompanied the Collector.
